MGN RADAR (“Seoul Popups”) · Last updated 7 August 2026
MGN RADAR helps you find pop-up stores and events in Seoul. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Only if you create an account, or sign in with Google, Kakao, Naver, or Apple | To identify your account and let you sign back in |
| Display name and profile photo | Only if you set them | Shown to you in the app on your own profile |
| Approximate location | Only while you use the map or nearby features, and only if you grant permission | To show pop-ups near you and sort them by distance |
| Photos you select | Only the single image you pick as a profile picture | To set your avatar. We never scan or browse your photo library |
| Saved and visited pop-ups | When you tap save or mark a visit | To sync your list across your devices |
| Push notification token | Only if you allow notifications | To alert you when a saved pop-up is ending soon |
You can use most of the app — browsing, searching, and the map — without an account at all. Location is requested only when you use a feature that needs it, and the app works if you decline.
No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, no contacts, no browsing history, no background location, and no payment information. The app does not track you across other apps or websites.
Account data is stored with Supabase, which hosts our database and file storage on our behalf. Push notifications are delivered through Expo and then Apple’s or Google’s push services. These providers process data only to run the service for us.
If you sign in with Google, Kakao, or Naver, that provider tells us your email address and basic profile information so we can create your account. We do not receive your password, and we do not post anything on your behalf.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and it is removed immediately — see below.
Open My Page in the app and tap Delete account. This permanently removes your account, profile, photo, saved and visited lists, and notification settings. It happens right away and cannot be undone. You do not need to email anyone to do this.
MGN RADAR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
You can view and change your name and photo in the app, turn notifications and location off at any time in your device settings, and delete everything using the button above. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights over your data — such as a copy of it — contact us and we will help.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and note the change in the app before it takes effect.
